Get help with Between Chapters, or contact us directly.
Open Between Chapters, go to Profile, and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes your library, reading progress, and chat history — it can't be undone. If you can't access the app, email dev@waynedunkley.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
Subscriptions are billed and managed through the App Store, not through Between Chapters directly. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Between Chapters, and cancel or change your plan there. Deleting the app or your Between Chapters account does not cancel an active subscription.
All purchases and subscriptions go through Apple's billing system, so refunds are handled by Apple, not us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
That's Spoiler Shield working as intended. When your question touches something past the chapter you've marked as read, the app declines rather than risk spoiling you. Update your reading position in the app if you've read further than it currently thinks.
Recaps, character summaries, and chat answers are generated by AI and can occasionally be incomplete or get something wrong. Please email us at dev@waynedunkley.com with the book title and what happened — reports like this directly help us improve Spoiler Shield's accuracy.
No. Every install gets an anonymous account automatically, so you can start reading right away. You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google so your library follows you across devices.
Your data stays tied to your account until you delete it — it isn't automatically erased just because you stop opening the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we store and for how long.
First, make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store and try restarting the app. If that doesn't fix it, email dev@waynedunkley.com with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened — screenshots help a lot.
Not yet — Between Chapters is currently iOS only, with Android coming soon. If you'd like to be notified when it's available, email us and we'll let you know.
Email dev@waynedunkley.com with a description of the issue, your device model and iOS version, and screenshots if you have them. For questions about your data or this app's privacy practices, see our Privacy Policy; for billing and account terms, see our Terms of Service.
